Northern Folk with
Southern Feel

Missives from the studio

June 22nd 2026

Summer festival season is in full swing as we move into Leo season. I had a blast playing the Northern Lights Festival in Sudbury and am preparing to head to Liberty Lakes, WA to play the BellTower Festival this weekend, alongside dear pals Begonia and the Bros. Landreth.

In between festivals, I’ve been working on my upcoming album. It’s been such a fulfilling creative process so far and I’m very excited to share all I’ve been working on in the new year. I’ve also been taking nice walks with my dog when it’s not a million degrees out, taking time to put my feet in lakes and rivers, and hanging harvests of sage to dry in my kitchen.

Looking forward to more festivals, a trip to Moncton to finish the record and be with friends, and time spent on the land.

If you’d like to hear a live performance I recorded in KRVS’ Cypress Lake Studio, I will just leave this here. The fall 2025 session was featured by NPR on World Cafe:
