Dispatching from a sunny desk in Abbeville, Louisiana. A place that is second home to me. Just spent the weekend dancing my heart out at Festivals Acadiens et Créoles and readying to hit the road to North Carolina this week. I’ve got a handful of shows there, starting with Mountain Stage hosted by Kathy Mattea. I’m really excited to be part of this beloved and renowned show and I’m excited to play some of my songs with their excellent band. After that I’ll be returning to Louisiana for another handful of shows, some of which will be with my Louisiana band, all of them dear friends I’ve made throughout the years.

Work is advancing on my album production. I’m almost ready to put a date on the calendar for its release, which is tremendously exciting! So much love has been put into this record and I can’t wait to share it. Stay tuned for updates!

Feeling grateful for music, it’s power to unite us and it’s power to offer safety and comfort in a world that tries to divides us. Gonna be reflecting on that as I drive East to the soundtrack many an inspiring artist.
